I've done enough marathons that I know the weatherman is usually full of crap. If by chance it is that hot, all you have to do is adjust your pace to how you feel, drink even more fluids than usual, and realize that you may not run your best time ever. You know all this stuff, but sometimes it is nice to know that someone else has experienced it before. I've done a marathon in 31 degrees and one in 79 degrees. The good news is I guess that would average out to 55 degrees which would be about perfect! (bad humor I know). I know you will do great and try not to worry.

But you're healthy and fit and mentally prepared, so temperature will not discourage you...right? Right.
Welcome to the club. 45,000 athletes are freaking out right now.
At least we're all in good company.
Drink more. We'll all be thinking about you.
I agree with Amanda. Healthy. fit, and mentally prepared? YOU'RE GOOD to go!!! ;D ;D Plus the weatherman is always wrong ;-)
Cheer up, blogette. The forecast will change 3 times. Control what you can and make sure you are prepared. You will be awesome.
