What do you use to record your mileage? Daily Mile, a calendar, uploading your garmin data, a spreadsheet, something else? Why do you use what you do?
chicago pizza with sauce on top is the "good stuff" kind of like running and everything that happens in between

wednesday what?
I may be old school in this but I record all my miles on paper. I found a handy dandy runners calendar on super discount at B&N after Christmas that I keep at my bedside to record my daily miles before end of the day. If I stored the calendar anywhere else I would forget to record my data because I'm kind of absentminded. Plus, it's portable and easy to take with me when I travel. Basic but exactly what I need. Previously I had recorded my miles on an Excel spreadsheet but I have 2 computers (work and personal) and it's not feasible to take 2 computers on every trip. (I don't like to keep personal stuff, even running related, on the work computer). I have thought about other ways to record the daily/weekly mileage, like Daily Mile, but keep coming back to my tried and true pen and paper.

I use that exact same book! I got it for Christmas. I also log my miles on an Excel spreadsheet. Why I record it twice, I don't know. I just do.
I may come across as slightly OCD right now, but I record everything in my schedule book, on dailymile, on my blog, and on a Google calendar. :| I'm.not.sure.why. Lol
a calendar printed from outlook. perhaps even older school than your running book--but i like it and it works. plus i like to see the whole month in front of me. i usually print out 3-4 months at a time, which is easy to fold and take on vacay. oh, and it's easy to reference when i need to create a blog post--otherwise i'd totally forget some runs ;)
OK, apparently TiffersRuns and I are both OCD. I write mine in my scheduler (in two spots), record it on dailymile, on my blog and on a chart on the fridge. Maybe I like to be constantly reminded of my hard work ...
I use a Free Paper Copy book that came in my Runner's World Magazine...Love it....I write my Km's run, route, how I was feeling, pace....Now I also do daily mile...I like having both...
I'm old school, too...use a desk calendar...
I keep everything online - it gets tough when I don't have internet but then I just write the workouts down and record them when I get back. My mom actually just found her old training logs from 1979 and 1980. It was fun to read them and see what she had written.
i use daily mile and my garmin spreadsheet on my home computer. i like the dailymile because no matter what I can find an internet connection and just add my miles, also it gives me a breakdown of how ive been doing, and same goes for my garmin.
I record it on my blog and on Garmin Connect. I think doing it by hand would be fun, but redundant for me!
I keep it on DailyMile and on my blog. DM keeps the "stats" and my blog keeps my "experiences." It works pretty well. :-)
I write all my training mileage down on paper too. I actually print out a calendar and free hand everything. I don't know what it is about it, but I just don't feel right entering it on a spreadsheet or something!
i have a spreadsheet on my home computer, but i also use daily mile and the blog :) so many things!
I use Garmin Connect. But I always put something in the notes section of the information...temperature, humidity, winds, how I felt during/after run. Also, I make note of any aches/pains I have so I can review if I get injured to see what's been happening.
I always upload my Garmin data to a webbased program (RunSaturday) and I also manually enter everything on Daily Mile.
I use RunningAhead. I can put in other workouts too. I guess it was just the first one I came across!
Normally a spreadsheet for my personal review. These days I'm kind of training on the fly so I'm not really logging them anywhere.
Have you tried Google docs? It's free and they have a decent spreadsheet program. It came in real handy when I didn't have Office on my Macbook yet.
You could import your existing spreadsheet into your Google docs account and then you'd have access to it from both your work and home computers.
I use a website www.runningahead.com I think =)
I use the same runner's calendar you do and I keep track of it on Daily Mile. When I am marathon training, I also keep track of it on a spreadsheet.
