10 years and still the same

Best friends since 8th grade

Sarah, Mindy, and me catching up

Back in Chicago after visiting my hometown Medina, OH for the weekend. So the 10 year reunion...I don't think I'm going to another reunion for a long time. 10 years apparently is not long enough to get beyond the high school mentality. I was in a class of over 350 students or so. Only about 75 people showed up and a quarter of those were dates! Not many have changed and nearly everyone stayed in their high school clicks all night. I was surprised that a lot more didn't show. Plus, all the people who didn't show were the ones I would have liked to have seen. Luckily I got to catch up with some good friends and that was a lot of fun. I had a little headache this morning :) My poor boyfriend was so bored! I owe him a nice night out after putting up with me and my friends and being our sober sister for the night...
No weekend workouts due to trying fit everything and everyone into the short schedule. I will get back into things tomorrow (hopefully).

I think that is a fairly typical 10 year scene. I was hoping it would be better for you! Give them another 10 maybe :)

We didn't have a 5 year for that very reason..I'm semi-hopeful for the 10 year..we'll see.

You looked fabulous!!

Uggghhhh sorry the 10 year didn't go so hot. Maybe the 20 year will be better? At least your best friend and bf were there. That always helps :-)

Great pics. Yeah, I went to exactly one high school reunion and it was about like your experience... most of the people who I wanted to see and had lost touch with, didn't show up. I guess they knew better than I did and were smart enough to stay away. Like Nancy said, maybe they get better as time goes by, but I think I am one and done on HS reunions.

My mom just told me about her 50th that she is planning and said that it is still like walking into high school when she sees her old friends. I think high school is just one of those things that won't change no matter how long you are apart. Good for you for going!

Hmm, I was a bit upset about missing my 10 year reunion. Now I don't feel as bad. And yes, you do owe your boyfriend. Haha!
